Wire Sculptures with the MFA
Wednesday, May 20, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. ET
Join us as we get playful with bending and twisting! Explore the wonderful world of wire sculpture! Inspired by a selection of dynamic artwork on view at the Museum of Fine Arts, we’ll learn about making our own sculptures out of wire. We’ll learn a basic technique for making wire people or animals. The possibilities are endless with the kinds of creations you can make.
*Please let us know if you need scissors mailed to you.
Paint Your Own Succulent Pot
Tuesday, May 26, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. ET
Nurture your green thumb (or any other color you can mix with your paint!) as you paint your own ceramic garden planter to display a faux botanical succulent. This synthetic succulent is maintenance free and will remain evergreen- no watering. All arrangement materials included, along with a decorative bamboo saucer. Small in size, this creation will provide a pop of color in any space where it is displayed. Keep it for yourself or gift to a friend.
*Please choose one workshop and email Zakim_Center@dfci.harvard.edu to register.
