Finding nutrition information specific to metastatic breast cancer can feel challenging at times. Many people wonder what else they can do beyond the basic evidence-based guidelines like eating non-starchy vegetables and being physically active. Many people are interested in supplements to support their health, but people actually absorb nutrients better from food than they do from pills. Turmeric is a spice with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Studies in animals suggest that turmeric could enhance the immune system and possibility even have some effects on tumor cells. Although there is less information in people about these medicinal effects, turmeric adds depth of flavor worth experimenting with. Here’s a recipe to get you started.
