Gentle Yoga for Vitality (VIRTUAL)

This yoga flow class promotes mind-body awareness with minimal weight-bearing on hands, and gentle transition to and from the floor. The class is moderately paced to cultivate strength, range of motion, flexibility, and balance within a gentle, continuous sequence of postures. The class is designed for participants who are able to lay down and sit on a mat. Modifications are offered.
PLEASE NOTE: The instructor will ask you to input an emergency contact number in the Zoom chat when class starts. Your message will only be visible to the instructor and will only be used in case of emergency.
Equipment needed: Yoga mat (if slippery surface), blocks, elastic band, strap, blanket. If you don’t have equipment available, try swapping these items:
- Yoga mat – move to carpet, take off socks
- Strap – tie, belt, scarf
- Blocks – small cushion, stack of books
