12 Nov, 2024
This standing, or sitting moving meditation is a great technique to help reduce side effects and symptoms of breast cancer and its treatment on a mental, physical, and energetic level.
The gentle movements of your arms, or wings, help stretch, strengthen, and massage the upper body. Together with the deep breathing, the abdominal and back muscles moving in and out, as well as the visualization of the lower energy center, or the Sun, two inches below the navel in the center of the body. This series of medical and martial arts qigong movement is based on the crane, a symbol of longevity in eastern philosophies.
