Description: This standing, or sitting moving meditation is a great technique to help reduce side effects and symptoms of breast cancer and its treatment on a mental, physical, and energetic level. The gentle movements of your arms, or wings, help stretch, strengthen, and massage the upper body. Together with the deep breathing, the abdominal and back muscles moving in and out, as well as the visualization of the lower energy center, or the Sun, two inches below the navel in the center of the body. This series of medical and martial arts qigong movement is based on the crane, a symbol of longevity in eastern philosophies.

Cilantro Lime Rice Culinary Bite

Ingredients:
· 2 cups long grain white rice (uncooked)
· 3 cups broth
· ½ bunch cilantro
· 1 lime (or 3 tablespoons lime juice)
Directions
1. Rinse the rice in cool water, then let drain well.
2. Add the rice and broth to a sauce pot, place a lid on top, and bring it to a full boil over high heat without removing the lid or stirring.
3. Once it reaches a full boil, turn the heat down to low, or just above low, and let the rice simmer for 15 minutes (not stirring or removing the lid). After 15 minutes, turn off the heat and let the pot rest for an additional 5 minutes.
4. While the rice is cooking, finely chop the cilantro.
5. Once the rice has rested off the heat for 5 minutes, remove the lid and fluff with a fork.
6. Add the cilantro and lime juice to the rice, then gently fold to combine. Make sure to not stir the rice vigor... -
