  • Description: This 45-minute chair yoga invites you to find movement in a way that is gentle and supportive. The practice invites awareness into the body and activates muscles in the spine that help you find length up through the spine for better posture and energy flow. If you are new to yoga, have difficulty getting down to the floor, experience pain in your muscles or joints, loss of energy, or balance issues due to peripheral neuropathy, this class is for you. All levels welcome.

  • Description: This 30-minute aerobic cardio workout class will help get your heart rate up and pumping in a fun way! Aerobic cardio exercise promotes cardiovascular endurance and helps improve cognitive skills, posture, balance, overall mental health and mood. Suited for beginner to intermediate levels with modifications available. 
    No equipment needed. For safety: make sure your workout area is cleared to avoid tripping/bumping; wear appropriate footwear that is secure and comfortable for walking/marching (low impact); if uncomfortable standing, seated & chair supported variations are offeredInstructor: Juliana Berfield

Modifications will be provided. What’s the structure of fLoW? Virtual 50-minute drop-in classes include instruction in general lymphatic massage and drainage, and a 30-minute yoga practice.   • Description: This dissolving meditation taps into the power of the mind to release stress and restore you on a mental, physical, and energetic level. First scan your body from the top-down plateau by plateau then find impurities and finally dissolve them using the metaphor solid to Liquid and Liquid to Gas. Maintain an aligned posture and breathe deep.

The gentle movements of your arms, or wings, help stretch, strengthen, and massage the upper body. Together with the deep breathing, the abdominal and back muscles moving in and out, as well as the visualization of the lower energy center, or the Sun, two inches below the navel in the center of the body. This series of medical and martial arts qigong movement is based on the crane, a symbol of longevity in eastern philosophies.

  • Description: Standing – no special equipment needed – if you need a quick workout and don’t have time to hit the gym, try incorporating this quick full body circuit into your daily routine. Energize and strengthen whenever you need. Juliana Berfield, PhD, E-RYT 500, CPT, will guide you through this fun and short video for a full body workout in minutes. 
    You can repeat these exercises 2-3 times for a longer workout or as “snacks” throughout the day.
