  • Description: Ramel Rones, Tai Chi Master, demonstrates Qigong and Tai Chi techniques for better mood. Most of this class can be performed sitting or standing. All levels welcome. 
    Improving your mood according to the philosophies of Qigong and Tai Chi is done by opening the chest area and practicing the inner smile. To achieve this, we will use low impact static postures and gentle dynamic movements. We will also practice deep breathing into different parts of the lungs. Meditation, visualizations and evoking the spirit are part of the formula, as well. Some of what we will learn and practice:

All levels welcome. Flexibility, strength, deep breathing, energy work and meditation are the principles for achieving and maintaining a high quality of life. In this 45 min class, we will learn and practice stationery postures and animal movements from the philosophies of Qigong and Tai Chi. Some of what we will learn and practice:

    Your internal body organs are the most important part of keeping healthy and enjoying a long and productive life. In this class we will practice gentle stretching movements with deep breathing and meditation to massage physically and dissolve mentally stress and stagnation in your internal organs.

    We will learn and practice, while emphasizing deep breathing and meditation, upper body, leg and abdominal strength training.
